Description
Clayton Pendergraft, PGA Golf Digest’s Best Teachers by State – Illinois (2026-27) Born and raised in Texas, Clayton attended Sam Houston State University, where he studied Business Administration and Professional Golf Management. After PGA internships in Texas, Missouri, and Virginia at some of the top clubs in the nation, Clayton knew golf instruction was his passion. One of Clatyon’s mentors, Leighann Albaugh, urged him to seek out and learn under Cog Hill’s Director of Instruction Kevin Weeks. After serving a final internship, Clayton is now in his fifth year at Cog Hill and assists Kevin Weeks’ PGA Junior League team and instructs in one of the strongest junior golf programs in the United States.
