Edward LaPierre is a PGA Professional and the Executive Director of First Tee of the Coastal Carolinas, bringing a unique combination of retail leadership and youth development expertise to golf instruction. A graduate of the University of New Hampshire, LaPierre built his career as a former executive with PGA Tour Superstore, where he gained extensive experience in both national and regional golf retail operations before transitioning to nonprofit youth golf development.

As Executive Director of First Tee of the Coastal Carolinas, LaPierre has dramatically expanded the organization's reach, growing programming from its 28-acre campus into nine counties across the Carolinas, including Brunswick, Columbus, Onslow, and Pitt counties. He oversees a comprehensive golf development program that includes six-week summer camps, year-round youth programming, and community outreach initiatives.

One of LaPierre's most notable achievements has been leveraging his PGA Tour Superstore connections to establish a teen center at the North Myrtle Beach store location, which received a $35,000 teen retention grant. His ability to bridge the gap between commercial golf and community-based youth development makes him a distinctive voice in the PGA teaching community. Previously based at PGA Tour Superstore in the Jacksonville/Ponte Vedra area, LaPierre continues to be an active PGA member committed to growing the game.
