About Jean-Paul

Jean-Paul Hebert is an assistant men's golf coach at the University of Texas and a former three-time All-American. Born into golf royalty — his father Jay Hebert won the 1960 PGA Championship and captained the 1971 Ryder Cup team, while his uncle Lionel won the 1957 PGA Championship — Hebert played for the Longhorns from 1991-1994 alongside Justin Leonard, leading Texas to four Southwest Conference titles. After competing professionally for eight years, he spent nine years as a senior assistant golf professional at The University of Texas Golf Club and worked as an associate producer for live tournament golf for Golf Channel and CBS.
