About Monte

Monte G. Meyer, PGA, is Head Golf Professional for Golf Waterloo at South Hills Golf Course in Waterloo, Iowa, the 2018 Iowa PGA Section Golf Professional of the Year who served as Head Golf Professional at South Hills for 27 consecutive years before overseeing all Waterloo city courses when Golf Waterloo was established. A University of Northern Iowa Financial Management graduate who also played college golf, he founded the first PGA Jr. League team in the Cedar Valley in 2017, has grown Wednesday night leagues to 32 teams and a winter simulator league to 24 teams, and teaches approximately 25 lessons per week year-round.
