Rick Anderson is a PGA Master Professional and Quarter Century Member who served as Director of Golf at Atlanta Athletic Club in Johns Creek, Georgia for 32 years before retiring in March 2021. Born in Florence, Alabama, Rick excelled in five sports in high school before turning professional in 1975. He arrived at Atlanta Athletic Club in 1981 as an assistant professional prior to the club's first PGA Championship, and returned in 1988 as head professional. He achieved PGA Master Professional status in 1991 and has served on the PGA Rules Committee since 2007 and the PGA Tournament Committee since 2009. He oversaw the club through multiple major championship events during his three-decade tenure at one of the Southeast's most prestigious private clubs.
