Matthew Closter is the PGA Director of Golf at Woodstock Country Club in Woodstock, Vermont, a position he has held since 2017 at this historic course operated by the Woodstock Inn and Resort. With more than 15 years of experience as a PGA Professional, Closter has built an impressive resume working at prestigious facilities throughout New England, Florida, and the Caribbean, including Weston Golf Club, CuisinArt Golf Resort in Anguilla, Vineyard Golf Club, Lost Tree Club, Jupiter Hills Club, and The Black Hall Club. His accomplishments include the 2018 New England PGA Merchandiser of the Year (Resort), the 2018 Vermont Chapter PGA Merchandiser of the Year (Resort), and the 2016 New England PGA Assistant Professional of the Year.
