Erik Haag is a PGA Certified Professional and Director of Golf Operations at Meadow Park Golf Course in Tacoma, Washington, where he has served since 2008. Originally from Staten Island, New York, Erik discovered golf at age 12 after moving to Washington. He earned a degree in Golf Management from College of the Desert and became a PGA Member in 2000, achieving PGA Certification in Golf Operations in 2013. After spending the early part of his career with American Golf Corporation at resort and private facilities, Erik found his calling in public golf and community engagement at Metro Parks Tacoma. He was honored as Western Washington Chapter Golf Professional of the Year in 2022. Erik's passion for growing the game is evident in his leadership of the PGA Junior League, First Tee of South Puget Sound partnership, Special Olympics hosting, and numerous youth development initiatives including after-school programs serving grades K through 8.
