Mendez, PGA, is founder of Alex Mendez Golf LLC in Downers Grove, Illinois, current Illinois PGA Section President and four-time nominee for Illinois PGA Golf Professional of the Year who spent nearly 30 years as a club head professional — including 24 years at Butterfield Country Club — before launching his independent instruction business. Now operating a private teaching studio equipped with TrackMan, Mevo+, V1 Sports three-camera video analysis, and a full simulator, he coaches golfers of all levels while also serving as swing coach for the Montini Catholic High School golf program.
