Clark Peterson is the founder and Director of Instruction at Golf Performance Academy in Kalamazoo, Michigan, where he has trained thousands of students over a 30-plus-year career in professional golf instruction. A PGA Member since 1992, Peterson is also a Titleist Performance Institute Certified Golf Fitness Instructor (TPI-CGFI) and Impact Zone Golf certified instructor. He graduated from Eastern Illinois University in 1988, where he competed on the Panther Golf Team. Before founding GPA in 2009, Peterson served as General Manager and PGA Director of Golf at The Moors Golf Club for six years and spent nine years as Head Golf Professional at the Country Club of Peoria in Illinois. His competitive accomplishments include qualifying for the National Club Professional Championship in 1998, playing five Heartland Cup teams, and setting course records at both the Country Club of Peoria (65) and The Moors (64). Peterson has received multiple section awards including CIPGA Golf Professional of the Year (1998, 2001) and Merchandiser of the Year. His junior programs have produced over 25 collegiate golfers.
