David Gannon is a PGA golf instructor at The Bridges Golf Club in San Ramon, the Johnny Miller-designed daily-fee course in the Tri-Valley area that plays through the rocky ridgeline terrain of the East Bay hills with a design philosophy built around the kind of strategic golf that rewarded Miller during his playing career — courses where course management and shot selection matter as much as raw ball-striking ability. The Bridges is considered one of the finer public-access courses in Northern California, and its reputation for quality conditioning and architectural character draws players from across the Bay Area who want a genuine course challenge rather than a flat, forgettable daily-fee layout. Gannon's instruction develops students who think carefully about the game and build the complete set of skills that a demanding course like The Bridges demands.
