Erik Gnagy is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Kinesiology and Health Education at the University of Texas at Austin, and one of a rare elite group of PGA Professionals who concurrently hold a PhD. He earned his B.S.E. from the University of Kansas, an M.S. in applied sports psychology from Cal State Fullerton, and his PhD from UT Austin specializing in behavior and sports performance. In addition to teaching golf courses at the university, Gnagy consults with professional and amateur golfers on the psychology of elite performance and is one of the leading experts in decision-making in golf.
