John W. "Johnny" Scott, PGA is the Director of Golf at Pine Hollow Golf Club in Clayton, North Carolina, where he has been teaching the game to golfers in the Raleigh area since September 1990. A Carolinas PGA Section member since 1993, Scott has built a thriving instruction program serving approximately 300 students. His teaching style has earned rave reviews due to his ability to make every student comfortable with instruction, utilizing golf swing drills, visual aids, and cognitive learning techniques to communicate effectively with each individual. Scott has conducted numerous men's, women's, and junior golf clinics throughout his career and has grown a highly active junior program through PGA Junior League Golf, now in its tenth year with spring, summer, and fall programs. His expertise spans putting, tournament strategy, short game, club fitting, wind play, full swing, course strategy, and wedge play.
