He started playing golf when he was 10 years old. He is married to his wife Emily and they have two girls Addison and Ella. Over the years golf became his passion and decided to get into the golf business in 2004 where he helped open Ballantrae Golf Club in Pelham. He was hired as the Merchandise Coordinator and Shop Assistant then later became an Assistant Golf Professional shortly after. He worked at Ballantrae for over four years then went to Hoover Country Club. While working at Ballantrae and Hoover, he was a Certified Club Fitter for Titleist.
