Matt Lohmeyer is a PGA Teaching Professional at GOLFTEC Montgomery Plaza in Fort Worth, Texas, whose combination of competitive playing success and dedicated coaching has earned him recognition as one of the top instructors in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. A graduate of the University of New Mexico PGA Golf University program, Lohmeyer moved from his hometown of Naperville, Illinois, to Fort Worth to pursue a career in golf instruction.

Since joining GOLFTEC in 2014, Lohmeyer has delivered more than 9,000 lessons and maintains a roster of over 100 active students. His competitive credentials add credibility to his teaching, as he won the 2019 Northern Texas PGA Professional Championship and was named Northern Texas PGA Player of the Year that same season, earning the lowest stroke average in the section. His playing achievements were further recognized when he was named 2019 GOLFTEC Coach of the Year.
