Originally from Wethersfield, Connecticut, Robert competed at the collegiate level for both Arizona State and New Mexico, finishing in the top 10 at the William Tucker Invitational. His professional career includes roles as Head Professional at Wampanoag Country Club and Berkshire Hills Country Club in the Northeast, where he was named 2006 NENYPGA Player of the Year and won both the Donald Ross Classic and the section's Club Professional Championship qualifier before relocating to Tampa.
