Tennye Ohr is a PGA Professional and Kentucky Golf Hall of Fame inductee (2022) with a distinguished career spanning nearly four decades. Raised in Irvine, Kentucky, she became a pioneering athlete, helping lead Estill County High School's first girls golf team to a Regional Championship in 1975. She went on to play collegiate golf at the University of Kentucky, competing in four National Championships and qualifying for three U.S. Women's Opens. Elected to PGA membership in 1987, Ohr launched a teaching career that earned her the 1996 Kentucky PGA Teacher of the Year award and the prestigious Deacon Palmer Award from the Kentucky Section PGA. Based at Man O'War Golf in Lexington since 2003, she teaches golfers of all ages from April through October. Golf Digest has recognized her as a top instructor in Kentucky, and she is known for her ability to connect with students through her warmth, competitive experience, and deep understanding of the game.
