Ann Loughlin is a PGA golf instructor at Thunderbird Country Club in Rancho Mirage, one of the Coachella Valley's most historically significant private clubs — founded in the early 1950s and closely associated with the entertainment figures and celebrities who helped put Palm Springs on the map as a leisure destination in the postwar decades. The club has a classic desert design character that reflects its era, and the membership carries a sense of institutional pride in the club's history that shapes how golf is taken seriously and taught there. Loughlin's instruction is available to members at a club where the combination of desert conditions, classic course architecture, and a storied membership tradition creates a distinctively serious and enjoyable environment for player development.
