About Brian

Brian Speakman is a PGA Golf Instructor and Operations Director at Blackburn Golf Academy, located at Greystone Golf & Country Club in Birmingham, Alabama. A graduate of Auburn University, Brian previously served as Head Professional and General Manager at Perdido Bay Golf Club in Florida before transitioning to full-time teaching in 2008 at Eagle Point in Birmingham. He joined the Greystone instructional team in 2010 and became Operations Director and CFO for Blackburn Golf when the Performance Center was completed in 2015. Brian was named the 2017 Alabama NW Florida Section PGA Teacher of the Year and the 2017 Alabama Chapter Teacher of the Year. He works with golfers of all skill levels, from beginners to tour players, and is TPI Level 3 and K-Vest Level 2 certified.
