Christopher Lungo teaches at Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club in Mission Viejo, a public course in South Orange County that follows the natural arroyo corridor through the Trabuco Canyon watershed, producing a layout with meaningful elevation changes and a variety of lies that players accustomed to flat, maintained parkland tracks don't typically encounter. The natural terrain boundaries require students to develop their ability to play from uneven ground and think through approach angles that aren't always obvious from the fairway, which makes the course a useful tool for instruction that goes beyond driving range mechanics. Lungo's program is available to players at all levels, and the public access format means his teaching is accessible to the full range of the Mission Viejo and Lake Forest golf community.
