Cody Rose teaches at North Kern Golf Course in Wasco, a public facility in the northern San Joaquin Valley serving the communities of Kern County that stretches from Bakersfield north toward the Tulare-Kern county line. The course plays through the flat valley terrain characteristic of this part of California with a layout that rewards consistent ball-striking and reliable approach play on greens that are straightforward enough to give students honest feedback on their distance control without the additional complexity of severe undulation. Rose's instruction is available to the North Kern golf community at a public facility that provides accessible, affordable golf and professional coaching in a region where private club options are limited.
