David Carr is a PGA golf instructor at Teal Bend Golf Club in Sacramento, a public course along the American River Parkway that plays through riparian wetland terrain with views of the river corridor and a naturalistic character shaped by the tule marsh and native vegetation of the American River floodplain. The course is well-regarded in the Sacramento public golf community for its conditioning quality and its environmental character — a genuinely distinctive setting that makes it feel more like a wildlife preserve than a standard daily-fee facility. Carr's instruction is available to the greater Sacramento area golf community at a facility that provides an unusual and enjoyable public golf experience in one of California's most important river corridor parkways.
