Greg Guman is a Class A PGA Professional whose career has spanned more than 38 years of dedicated golf instruction in the Carolinas. Earning his PGA certification in 1988, he began his professional career in Lynchburg, Virginia, before building his reputation at prestigious North Carolina clubs. He served 17 years as Head Golf Professional and Director of Instruction at Prestonwood Country Club in Cary, followed by 12 years as Director of Instruction at the Country Club of Landfall in Wilmington. Recognized as one of the best instructors in the Carolinas Section of the PGA, Guman is known for his individualized teaching philosophy that adapts fundamentals to each golfer rather than forcing a generic model. His approach emphasizes helping players understand ball flight mechanics through clear, practical instruction. He continues to teach in the Wilmington area and is currently Director of Golf Development at Ashley High School.
