About Jill
Jill Womble, PGA, is the Program Director at First Tee of the Tri-Valley at Pleasanton Golf Center in Pleasanton, California, where she has been making a lasting impact on golfers of all ages since 2014. Raised in Pleasanton, Jill graduated from Foothill High School in 2003 and competed in junior golf tournaments both locally and nationally before earning a full scholarship to the University of Kansas, where she majored in Sociology and competed on the women's Division I golf team. A 13-year PGA member, Jill began her professional career as an Assistant Golf Professional and Merchandiser at Lahontan Golf Club in Truckee before returning to her hometown. Her dedication to player development has been recognized at the highest levels, earning both the 2020 Northern California PGA Player Development Award and the 2020 Northern California PGA Youth Development Award. Jill offers a comprehensive range of instruction including junior and adult coaching, private lessons, camps, clinics, and schools. Her involvement with First Tee brings an added dimension to her teaching, incorporating character development and life skills alongside golf fundamentals. With over 30 years of involvement in the game and a Division I competitive background, Jill brings an exceptional blend of playing experience, teaching skill, and community commitment to every student she works with.
