A graduate of Ferris State University's Professional Golf Management program, Pat developed his passion for the game in high school and began his career working at a local golf course. He went on to spend approximately six years at Milwaukee Country Club in Wisconsin before relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area, where he served at Burlingame Country Club. Pat subsequently became the Head Professional at Lake Merced Golf Club, one of the premier private clubs on the San Francisco Peninsula. During his tenure at Lake Merced, he played an integral role during the club's acclaimed course restoration by renowned architect Gil Hanse. Pat's deep understanding of course design, bunkering strategies, and green architecture enriches his teaching, allowing him to help students develop not just swing technique but strategic course management skills. His experience across multiple elite private clubs has given him a well-rounded perspective on the game, and he is known for his ability to connect with members and students at every skill level.
