Robert Tovias, PGA, is the Lead Instructor at Buenaventura Golf Course and Olivas Links in Ventura, California, where he has been a dedicated member of the golf staff since 2003. A graduate of UC Santa Barbara, Rob is a Class A PGA Member with a PGA Specialized certification and brings over two decades of competitive playing experience and more than a decade of focused teaching to his instruction. He was promoted to Assistant Golf Professional in 2012 and is a Certified Titleist Club Fitting Professional, combining technical equipment expertise with his teaching skills. Rob's instruction covers putting, tournament strategy, speed training, short game, wind play, full swing, course strategy, and wedge play, and he works with golfers of all ages and abilities, from youth and juniors to adults and seniors. He has a strong emphasis on junior golf and growing the game, serving as Team Captain for the PGA Jr League at Olivas Links. Whether a student is looking to hit a target score, build confidence on the course, or simply have more fun, Rob's well-rounded approach and years of competitive and teaching experience make him an effective and approachable coach for players at every level.
