How much do golf lessons cost in Westlake Village?
Private 60-minute lessons typically range $75–$175. Junior lessons run $40–$80 per session. Many instructors offer package discounts of 10–20%.
Do I need to be a club member to take a lesson?
Most teaching pros accept non-members at their club's practice facility. Check the instructor's club affiliation — a few private clubs restrict lessons to members and guests.
How many lessons do I need as a beginner?
Most beginners feel comfortable on a full course after 6–10 lessons. The first 2–3 sessions cover grip, stance, and basic swing mechanics. Budget $400–$800 for a solid introductory package.

Every credential badge (PGA, LPGA, TPI, USGTF) shown on a profile has been verified. Listings without a badge have not yet provided proof of certification.

Ted has been terrific with our 2 boys, ages 9 and 12. Thanks to Ted, we have finally found a sport they enjoy!! Ted is patient, kind and easygoing, and he makes sure our sons are enjoying themselves as they learn. It's so refreshing to not have to drag our boys kicking and screaming to their lessons, as we did with so many other activities we begged them to try. Our older son is even talking about joining his high school golf team. I never dreamed he'd try out for ANY school sports team! Thanks Ted. We look forward to many years ahead.
